Fresh gameplay footage of Monolith Soft’s X in action

In the latest Nintendo Direct, Iwata showed off a new gameplay video of Monolith Soft’s upcoming game Wii U game X.

You can see the new battle system in action, which is based upon the battle system used in their previous game Xenoblade Chronicles, but is more polished. Guns fire and swords slash in this hectic and flashy gameplay video, which you can see below. You can also enter mechs mid-combat to take on bigger enemies. The game uses Japanese voice-overs.
