First print Pokkén Tournament gets bonus Shadow Mewtwo amiibo card

More amiibo cards to collect it would seem.

Nintendo only briefly touched on Pokkén Tournament in this morning’s Nintendo Direct but did confirm some good news.

The first print run of the game will include a new amiibo card featuring Shadowing Mewtwo. This likely means that other Pokemon amiibo cards are on the way as well but wasn’t strictly confirmed.

The card will unlock Shadow Mewtwo instead of having to unlock him the hard way (by actually playing the game.

Pokkén Tournament is due out in Australia next Autumn, a full release date is still forthcoming.
