EA has fully lifted the lid on FIFA 18 for the Nintendo Switch and it sounds pretty good! FIFA 18 for Switch won’t be running on Frostbite but it will have everything else you could ask for from a FIFA game, including Ultimate Team.

The game is playable with support for split Joy-Con play, single Joy-Con or you can even use the Pro Controller. It also runs at 1080p when docked, and 720p when in handheld mode as well.

With advanced rendering technology, FIFA 18 on Switch delivers the most technologically-advanced portable FIFA experience ever. Brand-new pitch environments, realistic character likeness, and new gameplay mechanics, all built for Switch.

FIFA 18 for Switch also has Career Mode, Switch Kick Off and Local Seasons. EA hasn’t explained what Switch Kick Off is, but to see all these modes, plus Ultimate Team is great.

FIFA 18 is developed by EA Vancouver and EA Romania and will be released worldwide on September 29th.
