First details on Monster Lab
From the makers of Street Fighter II Turbo HD remix Backbone Studios, comes an original Wii game title set to release later this year. Monster Lab will have you filling the shoes of an apprentice mad scientist who is taking on an important role at the Mad Science Alliance. With the guidance of your mentor, Professor Fuseless and the help of a list of some other crazy characters, you will explore Ghastly Valley with in six different areas to find different ingredients. More inside From there you will travel back to your castle in order to experiment and to build the ultimate Monster to defeat Thrunch the Vastly Superior and over throw the Evil Baron Mharti in the progress. The game will see you use three different styles of science alchemical, mechanical and biological to create the different parts of your monster and have a vast array of experimentation which is almost limitless. It will be complemented by extensive Wii remote gestures to help the atmosphere and make you truly feel like you are a mad scientist.
It will be mainly considered a fighter with many smaller fun mini games which will be a necessary part of succession for the story. Also there will be plenty of exploration to bring the whole experience together. So far the game is shaping up to be a solid driven single player experience looking at 12 hours in length, with a multiplayer option which is fully online that will have you utilizing your monsters to battle other players creations via Wifi.
