Game Arts, co-developer of Super Smash Bros. Brawl and lead developer of the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash-Up, has finally given some details, and a slight renaming, of their first WiiWare title.
Shadow Walker: Kage no Shonen to Hikari no Yosei (the latter part translating to "Shadow Boy and Fairy of Light") sees you play Popo (the "Fairy of Light"), who needs to aid Rukusu, a tree fairy, achieve his dream of being born as a real tree at a certain spot. Rukusu will turn into a tree as soon as he is hit by light, so he needs to stay in the shadows until he reaches his goal.
Popo can help him along by extending the shadowy path as a result of shining light on "Maho Maho" columns. Shadow Walker will be available on the Japanese WiiWare service this October and, while not confirmed for a PAL release, "the North American version is currently under development," according to Game Arts, who have also promised to share more information about the game soon on its official site.
