Firewatch is coming to the Switch “soon”
Ever wanted to hike through the wilderness while you hike through the wilderness? Well, pretty soon, you’ll be able to do just that.
San Franciscan developers Campo Santo have announced in a blog post that the critically acclaimed first-person exploration game Firewatch is coming to Switch sometime soon. Firewatch was first released on PC in February of 2016 to an extremely positive reception, with the game winning several industry awards across 2016 and into 2017.

In Firewatch, you take the lead as Henry, a new fire lookout in Wyoming, shortly after the Yellowstone fires of 1988, as he wanders into a deep and sometimes terrifying mystery. Campo Santo haven’t given a release date beyond “soon”, but they promise that they’re hard at work to make the Switch version of Firewatch feels like a good Switch game, and that there might even be a few surprises just for Switch players.
