Fire Emblem If supports current series amiibo, build and manage a town
Fire Emblem If may be a 2016 game here in the west, but in Japan the game is due out quite soon.
New details were given on the ‘My Castle’ portion of the game. It’s a new mode that also uses StreetPass and will see you build and manage you own castle.
You set out your buildings, manage resources and hold off invaders from taking over your castle. These invaders come through via StreetPass. The whole made is the same graphical style as Fire Emblem Awakening.
The Nintendo Direct also confirmed that the four currently available Fire Emblem amiibo will work in the game. Lucina, Marth, Robin and Ike will be able to be recruited after beating them in a battle.
Fire Emblem If will be available in two versions when it is released in Japan, each version offers a distinct difference. There’s also a third campaign available which will work with both versions available at a later date.
