Fire Emblem Heroes announced for Mobile, Android and iOS on February 2nd
Nintendo has announced Fire Emblem Heroes, it’s mobile Fire Emblem title and it’ll be out on Android first on February 2nd. Pre-registration will begin on Google Play on January 19th (today).
The iOS release date will be confirmed at a later date.
Update: Nintendo of America now says the game will be out on both platforms on Feb 2.
The game contains a brand new original story, you can call on heroes from all throughout Fire Emblem history to defeat the evil empire that’s intent on taking over the world.
The game features classic Fire Emblem gameplay, in portrait mode on a 8×6 grid. The game has the classic Fire Emblem play field but also a ton of animation and voice when moves are performed with all original artwork and new voice recordings.
The game will be entirely ‘free-to-play’ with essentially a gacha machine in-game for new items and characters.
