Final Fantasy XIV Port Considered for NX?

Will Final Fantasy be moving itself back home?

MMORPG fans rejoice! Riding on the back of Square Enix’s announcement that it’s bringing Dragon Quest to the Nintendo NX, speculation is rife that a port of Final Fantasy XIV may also brought to the new console.

Main-man Naoki Yoshida mentioned the plans for a port in an interview with DualShockers, sayng that, if the launch date of the console synced up, lines of negotiation with Nintendo were open and ready to go.

Whilst there isn’t lots to go off at this moment, the glimmer of cross-platform games making their way to the big N’s consoles is always an encouraging sight. Are you hoping that this opens the floodgates for playing against your friends on other consoles? Let us know below!
