Final Fantasy IX out now, VII and Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon get release dates

Nintendo announced release dates for both Final Fantasy VII and Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon EVERY BUDDY! during it’s Nintendo Direct this morning. They also announced that Final Fantasy IX is available… right now!
Final Fantasy VII, the classic Final Fantasy game beloved by many, will be releasing on the Switch on the 26th of March. We don’t have a new trailer for this, but it’s 22 years old at this point, you know what you’re getting into.
Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon EVERY BUDDY!, on the other hand, will be releasing just under a week sooner, on the 20th of March. A sequel to the classic Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo’s Dungeon, which released on the Wii in 2008, EVERY BUDDY! features classic endless dungeon-crawling, the ability to befriend monsters, co-op gameplay, and bucketloads of adorable chocobo friends.
Final Fantasy IX, which is available to download from the eShop right now for $31.50 AUD, focuses on the story of Zidane and his crew, the Tantalus Theatre Troupe, as they set out on a journey to discover the secrets of their wartorn world. You can watch the launch trailer below.
