FIFA 13 on Wii U kicks off on launch day

It’s confirmed, FIFA 13 will be available day one on the Wii U when the system launches later this year.

EA showed off the game in action today at its EA Summer Showcase and is calling it the best FIFA on a Nintendo console ever. We wouldn’t be too smug about that EA.

EA says that while the game will keep its traditional controls it will also have ‘dad mode’ (well that’s what we’re going to call it) which should keep the ‘casual’ and mobile crowd happy as well. The game makes use of the touch screen in several wonderful ways which we spoke about earlier in the week.
