At 1200 Nintendo points, the complete range of DLC out-prices the cost of the actual game of 1000 points. The content mostly includes in-game items such as spells, artifacts, and monsters. In addition there are purely aesthetic-only upgrades like dresses available for sale to allow further character customisation. Players certainly won’t be required to purchase all of the content, but the high price of the items suggests that Square-Enix are keen once again to squeeze money out of players through microtranscations. In Squeenix’s defence, however, some of the dresses are awfully cute.
The game was released in Japan yesterday, with a PAL release date yet to be finalised
