Tecmos eagerly awaited horror title wont be released in Europe after all, and will for now remain a Japanese exclusive

Another one bites the dust- survival horror game Fatal Frame IV has now been confirmed to be cancelled according to Official Nintendo Magazine. The magazine says that although Tecmo and Nintendo Europe planned to release the game this May despite any word of a North American release, it now seems that the game is now no longer coming to any western territories.

No official reason was given for the cancellation, however, the game wasn’t released completely bug free in Japan, with several game breaking bugs plaguing the game. With the added work needed for translation and on top of bug fixes, the release may not have been viable or Nintendo simply didn’t want to pay for it.
