Hardwired controllers to keep with tradition.

After missing in action for a while, Nintendo has finally announced a Mini NES Famicom for Japan as well.

Like it’s western counterpart it will come with 30 games, they’re slightly different to the ones we’re getting in the NES but that’s to be expected.

The mini Famicom will also differ in another way as well, it comes with hardwired cables for it’s controller just like the original system. They’re also a lot smaller and ‘mini’ as well.

Along with the announcement for Japan was a trailer showing the game lineup and how the menu system works for the first time. You can access the menu and the save system through the reset button, and there are indeed display options to make it look crisp and sharp, but also replicate a CRT.

The Mini Famicom will be released in Japan on November 10th.
