Exclusive First Peek: Retro Gamer Garden to rock EB Expo 2013
So this year’s EB Expo is going to be huge, with two news consoles to play and when Nintendo Australia eventually get around to announcing it, there will be a ton of new Wii U and 3DS games to play too.
But we all come from somewhere and that’s why this year, EB Expo will be home to the Retro Gamer Garden. As the name suggests, it’ll be filled with retro consoles, LED trees and 8-bit flowers. There’s also going to tons of comfy places for you to fall asleep sit and as a bonus there will be cartoons playing non-stop, on VHS of course.
“With the way that the EB Expo has been expanding each year, we’ve been presented with the opportunity to create something really different that we thought the community would enjoy,” say Kelsey Gamble, EB Games’ Community Manager.
“As far as we can tell this garden is the first of its kind at a convention, and we’re super excited to see how it is received. Whether you’re sitting under the LED light tree watching Pokemon, or curled up on a ladybug cushion playing a SNES, you’re going to have a unique experience in the Retro Gamer Garden.”
