Excitebike: World Rally announced for WiiWare

Out of the blue Nintendo announces a new online enabled Excitebike out on November 9

Nintendo has used the Nintendo Channel today to pull the covers off a new installment to the Excitebike franchise only for WiiWare. Excitebike: World Rally is a 2.5D update to the game. The game will not only have online support but also a track editor and if you really want them some sort of motion control.

We aren’t sure who has developed this one but in the brief footage shown of it you can hear sounds from Excitebots so perhaps Monster Games are behind it.

The game is due out soon with a North American release set for November 9th. Yes, just a couple of weeks away. When and if Australia and Europe get it is another thing. You can see the announcement video (with trailer) below.
