Europe and Japanese Virtual Console library expands with Game Gear in March

The first third party Virtual Console title hits the eShop very soon.

Satoru Iwata has revealed in the latest Nintendo Direct episode that Game Gear games are set to appear on the Nintendo 3DS’s Virtual Console from next month. Or at least they will be in Japan. The first three games will be Sonic the Hedgehog: Triple Trouble, Dragon Crystal and Shinobi. The games will cost just ¥300 or about $3.50. Not too expensive at all.

Nintendo Europe in its presentation later in the night then revealed that the same three games would be coming to the European eShop mid march as well. No one missed out!
