Etrian Odyssey IV is coming to Europe

A rather quiet announcement by Nintendo Europe tonight that Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan will be making it to European shores later on in the year. We’re not very sure when, however. Athough our import and American readers will be happy to know it’s due in less than twelve days at time of writing.

For those who aren’t in the know – Etrian Odyssey IV has been heralded as a return to the old school RPG. It features adjustable difficulty modes (including a casual mode for those who aren’t too into their RPGs), a fully realised world and bestiary in stunning 3D and a classic skill based battle system.

While we don’t have a release date for Australia (nor are we guaranteed one) at least this European releases means that those who really want it are able to import it and play it on their Australian 3DS consoles. A demo is also available on the North American eShop, so hopefully we’ll receive the same treatment eventually too.

If you’re keen on Etrian Odyssey iV, why not watch the trailer and see how it looks. As a huge RPG fan, I know that I’m very pleased with this news.
