While Nintendo’s said the eShop will launch sometime this May and it’s indeed May, we’re yet to see the update as of yet. However, there may be more games joining the Virtual Console service sooner than we think.
The North American ratings board, the ESRB has rated two Jaleco games that were originally on the Gameboy for the Nintendo 3DS. Following on from what we know of the Wii’s Virtual Console, that means the games are headed to your local 3DS some time soon. The games are Fortified Zone and Avenging Spirit. The first game is a top down shooter and the second is a side scrolling platformer. Both of them are original black and white Gameboy games.
Nintendo is set to release the Nintendo 3DS eShop in May, when exactly is anyone’s guess.
Time to ring up BetFair then.
