It’s been one of the worst kept secrets but there’s as sequel to Epic Mickey coming and this time it’s going multi platform. Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two will again be developed by Warren Spector’s studio Junction Point and be coming to all the main consoles.
The game this time around will be a musical. Yes the characters will spontaneously burst into song mid-game. Naturally Mickey is back as is Oswald who will be your co-op partner who controls the power of electricity. Mickey still has his paint and thinner and depending on how you play the games characters and the games music will morph and change around you.
The one big complaint about the first game was the camera. However don’t worry as Spector is keen to point out that over 1000 changes have been made to the camera system and he believes you won’t even have to touch the camera controls at all. We’ll hold him to that.
Epic Mickey was a great but flawed game, it’s great that its getting another chance to shine.
