Enter the ScreamPark with up to 8 players in Luigi’s Mansion 3

That's a lot of Luigis

Luigi’s Mansion 3 was name dropped in the Nintendo Direct announcement earlier this week, and the result was a great new look at some new features coming to the game.

A bunch of new, themed floors were revealed for the game, including a pyramid, a disco floor, and even a pirate-themed restaurant. Every floor in the hotel is said to have a distinct, unique theme, so it looks like there’ll be plenty of variety on offer when the game launches this October.

Perhaps the more exciting announcement was ScreamPark, a multiplayer party game in which up to 8 players — 4 Luigis and 4 Gooigis — battle it out to defeat ghosts, collect coins, or break targets. It’s only been revealed for couch play right now, with 8 players requiring the use of 8 separate Joy-Cons on one system.

You can watch the reveal trailer below. Luigi’s Mansion 3 launches on the eShop and at retail on the 31st of October.
