Today at the eGames Expo in Melbourne Nintendo Australia showed off its two big holiday games to a receptive audience, we of course are talking about Wii Music and the upcoming Animal Crossing: Lets Go to the City. Unlike previous events Nintendo didnt waste any time talking, with only a brief speech at the start from Greg Arthurton from Nintendo Australia. More inside
First up was Wii Music and since the game is already in stores well just touch on it quickly as you should all know how it plays now. Jamie and Kat from Nintendo showed off both the Jam Modes as well as the drum mode which uses the Wii Balance Board.

Shown off next was Animal Crossing, while they didnt show off to much of the game, we do get a glimpse at the city. From what we can tell there are a few stores in there including the return of the hairdresser who can also “”apply make up”” to you in the form of making you look like your Mii. Also it seems like the seasonal cycle is wrong again as the game we saw was in autumn.

That was all from Nintendos stage demonstration this year, so be sure to check out our hands on impressions of Animal Crossing: Lets Go to the City here.
