Earthbound never to be Wii Bound?
It’s been one of those questions that has for YEARS been asked by Western fans of Nintendo’s niche RPG series, Earthbound, and it appears that question has finally been answered, and it’s not good either. Super Smash Bros Brawl included a demo of the original Earthbound in it’s “”masterpieces”” section, but the demo was strangely absent from the western releases. More inside Now, we may have a definitive answer and it’s not pretty. The main thing is that little thing that we like to call licensing. You see, the problem is that most of the soundtrack resembles several pieces of music in real life, which would cause all kinds of complications for Nintendo. How do we explain the recently revealed ESRB rating then? Well, that wasn’t meant to be shown either. Unless the changes requested get made, we probably won’t see Earthbound any time soon.
