Peter Moore even heading to Nintendo Japan for super happy fun time meeting

If it wasnt already made apparent when EAs boss took to the stage at E3 this year to express his love for the Wii U, then maybe this news will solidify that fact for you. While we havent heard much from Nintendo about the Wii U in a while, EAs Peter Moore is more than happy to speak about it saying that, at least from his perspective it appears to be on the right track. “There are no indications that there’s anything that feels like it’s off target,” Moore has told Reuters.

Moore is even heading to Kyoto next week to check on the progress of the console which hasnt been seen or talked about by Nintendo in months. “From our perspective right now, specs are a big deal" hes keen to find out how much processing power and what kind of graphics the system can offer, the price and when it might be realised. Arent we all though?

Still worried that EA isnt 100% keen on the Wii U? Then this quote will put your mind at ease, Moore says that “Our teams are working on it around the world. Our key franchises will be there. We’ve made that commitment to Nintendo.” Then again, all of EAs big franchises have been on the Wii and DS and some of those efforts have been terrible, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, Im looking in your direction.

Will EA put on the AAA teams for the Wii U? Or could it be relegated to the B teams again with the occasical moments of brilliance like Tiger Woods and Dead Space Extraction? Only time will tell.
