EA takes garden shears to My Garden for the 3DS
The 3DSs first canceled game, and the console isnt even out yet
Weirdly announced at the TGS last year, My Garden was set to be one of EAs 3DS launch titles along with The Sims 3. The basic premise of the game was to develop a virtual garden through the actions of plantation and care, which would ultimately attract various creatures depending on the variety of flora.
However today at an event in New York City, EA has confirmed that the game has been cancelled, however no reason has yet been given as to why. With the game basically all but finished (to make the 3DS launch, it would have had to be) its weird to see a game get cancelled before the 3DS even hits.
My Garden was likely never to set the world alight sales wise, however games at launch sometimes can sell more than they usually would have simply because its the launch.
