EA Sports Active, released in May this year, is an exercise game akin to Wii Fit. It has collected quite positive feedback since release with a score of 81 on Metacritc. It has also sold over 1.8 million units, seemingly prompting EA to try to extend it.
The expansion includes more workouts, a retail expansion to the original game, contains improvements across the board, including a new six-week challenge with a customise weekly schedule and a weekly check-in. There will also be a emphasis on abdominal exercises like curl ups, crunches, and punches, alongside a new warm-up/cool-down feature.
EA has been on a bit of a roll with good Wii titles of late, so heres hoping this will be a worthwhile addition to the first game.
EA Sports Active More Workouts doesnt currently have a confirmed Australian release date, but will be heading to Europe on November 20th.
