digg_url = ‘http://digg.com/nintendo/EA_Australia_responds_to_missing_online_in_MOH_Heroes_2’;Last week Medal of Honor Heroes 2 was released for the Wii down under. People who had bought the Australian version of the game found that it was indeed missing the much-touted 32 player online mode. EA Australia has responded to the uproar with the following “”Medal of Honor Heroes 2 for Wii does not support online functionality in Australia. We made an error in the documentation and marketing materials. We are very sorry to have caused confusion for our customers. We will provide a refund to anyone in Australia who wishes to return the game to EA because of the lack of online functionality.”” More inside While we can only speculate to why it was removed, thats all EA saying, but we are willing to bet that perhaps possible lag could have been an issue. However its more likely that local servers may have had to have been created for the game, something that EA just werent willing to do. Readers are reminded that the UK version of the game is fully playable on Australian console and features the online mode.
