E3 2018: Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion arrives this Thursday, Octoling amiibo on the way
Nintendo has confirmed that the Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion will arrive in the afternoon Thursday, June 14th! All through Nintendo’s Direct last night it had a ‘Summer 2018’ date (that’s US Summer), but early this morning they dropped the date at the Splatoon 2 World Championship Final.
The Octo Expansion brings a whole new campaign mode featuring Agent 8 and will bring playable Octolings to the main game.

Not only that if you really love the Octolings a three-pack of new amiibo will be released later this year with them.

Nintendo has now committed to free updates to Splatoon 2, including gear, weapons and stages until the end of 2018.
It would be great if they issued a physical release of the Octo campaign to coincide with the release of the amiibo.
