E3 2017 opens up to the public for the first time ever

For a price.

For the first time ever the E3 Expo will open its doors to the general public. 15,000 tickets to the expo will be sold and anyone who wants to pony up the cash can attend.

Previously the expo has been only open to media and industry figures. In recent years we’ve seen the rules relaxed with more bloggers and YouTubers allowed in.

The tickets aren’t cheap, you’re looking at over $300AUD just to get in. There’s also a cheaper early bird price of $195AU. Cheaper but still – ouch.

It’s a dream of many a gamer to go to E3, but at that price and with less focus from developers on the show – is it something you still want to do? Let us know in the comments.
