E3 2014: Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire out November 21st in Australia

Nintendo has confirmed the release date for the upcoming Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire for Nintendo 3DS.

The game will be out in Australia on November 21st, both Japan and America will get this release date as well. Europe however have to wait an entire week for November 28th. Nintendo has given no reason for the week delay.

First footage of the game was also released showing off Hoenn under the Pokemon X and Y engine. Primal Groudon and Kyogre also feature.

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire were one of the few Nintendo 3DS games on show during the event. Shame.

I wonder why we get it at the same time as Japan & America do instead of the European release date, since we share the same region lock. I’m not complaining though, but this sucks for Europeans.

The music towards the end in the trailer sounded really dull, flat and not at all exciting lmao.

Awesome. I thought we were going to be subjected to the same delay as Europe. Glad to hear that this won’t be the case (for now).

My guess would be the problems they faced with the world Wide launch. Such as the UK GAME putting the XY game out a day early and other thing like that in Europe.
