Nintendo have revealed behind closed doors (for now) that Code Name S.T.E.A.M. (Strike Team Eliminating The Alien Menace) is coming to the 3DS, showing off a cel-shaded London, with a steampunk vibe to it. From what we hear, the gameplay is a mixture of turn-based and third person shooter elements. The game is being developed by Intelligent Systems, who have been responsible for Nintendo favourites such as Advance Wars and Fire Emblem.
The main threat in the game appears to be an alien menace, with you and your Steam team, led by Lincoln by the way, trying to eliminate them from London. While we don’t have any images just yet, Nintendo announced via Twitter that they will be showing the game off on their Treehouse streams tomorrow. When we get more information, and something pretty to look at, we’ll keep you guys updated.
Update: Screenshots, artwork, boxart added!
