During Nintendo’s E3 press conference this morning, Nintendo announced a concert tour performing music from the The Legend of Zelda franchise as part of the celebrations for the 25th Anniversary of the series. No details were announced regarding where and when the tour will happen and which cities it will visit, however expect that information to be revealed at a later date. What Nintendo did do, though, was give a sneak peek at what a concert like this would sound like, with a live orchestra playing the music from the Zelda series (accompanied by a montage) used to open their press conference.
Also announced was two Zelda soundtrack CDs. The first one is a Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D soundtrack that will be given away to people who register their copy of Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D early, whilst their second one will be an accompaniment to their concert tours, with music from then entire series, presumably recorded with the orchestra.
