Miyamoto has shown off a new peice of artwork the next Wii version of Zelda, but has said its not ready to show.

During a small roundtable conference, Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto has spoken about the lack of any information regarding a new Zelda for Wii.

Miyamoto says that he hopes to announce it next year. He didn’t let much slip, but brought along some concept artwork showing an older Link, and a woman in a blue dress believed to be Zelda. These images have not yet surfaced outside the conference, and no cameras were permitted, so it may be a while before everyone else gets to see them. Also mentioned was that he would like for the game to use the MotionPlus – perhaps even being MotionPlus exclusive!

All those disappointed by the lack of a new Wii Zelda can at least take solace in the oh-so-far-away announcement of the game next year.
