Brand new shooter from Capcom with jet packs, mecha and big guns. Oh yeah.
Capcom has announced a spin-off of the Lost Planet series, E.X. Troopers, and it’s coming to the Nintendo 3DS as well as the Playstation. However, when we say spin-off it’s really spun off. The game features in the same world as the HD console versions but the presentation is completely different with a heavy anime style and influence.
E.X. Troopers tells the tale of Bren Turner who is a member of the academy on the snow planet of EDN-3rd. Naturally you’re going be stuck smack bang into middle of a war with Akrid Aliens.
The game is being produced by the name behind the Monster Hunter series so it has a good pedigree, hopefully though we’ll see this one outside of Japan as it looks quite good. Who doesn’t jet packs, mecha and big guns?
