It sounded too good to be true, but its real. DuckTales is being remastered for a new generation by the team at Wayforward.

The game is being released this Winter (American summer) for a mere $15 on the Wii U eShop as well as the Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation network.

The game has entirely new hand drawn sprites, but is played out in a 3D world. The authentic voice actors will be contributing to the game and yes, that theme song is there. Woo-oo.

The games original music score is being remastered as well, not just the graphics. There will also be new features including a tutorial, a museum and Scrooge’s Money Bin for you to swim around in.

Capcom promises the game is going to play just like you remember.
