DS sales up to 113 million worldwide

Nintendos current handheld hasnt got much to go before it surpasses the original Gameboy series
Well, it appears that the DS XL/LL announcement wasnt due to a lack of sales, since weve now got worldwide totals for the handheld. Counting the Phat, Lite and DSi, the DS, in all its revisions, has now sold 113 million units. That brings it very close to the Gameboy and Gameboy Colors 118.69 million sales, so we can only assume itll pass those by the end of its lifetime. 11.7 million of those DS sales were in the last 6 months, too.
On the games front it is still doing well too, with 71 million copies of software sold in the last 6 months. This brings the total software sales up to a massive 638 million!
