The NPD released thei American October Sales figures, the Wii retakes first place selling 519,000 units, followed up by the DS’ 458,000 units sold. Microsoft’s Xbox 360 is back down from the Halo 3 launch last month and comes in at 3rd place, at 366,000 units. Meanwhile, Sony’s PSP ranked 4th, and the PS3 trailing at the bottom of the list, selling 121,000 units. The PS3’s price cut came in November, so we’ll see if Sony’s latest effort to increase their low sales will pay off next month.
