Release date announced, alongside a snazzy new 3DS design.

Andriasang reports that the remake of the Game Boy Color game Dragon Quest Monsters—now with the subtitle of “Terry’s Wonderland 3D“—is set to be released on the 31st of May.

The game will be released as a standalone cartridge, as well as bundled in with an Ice White 3DS patterned with the series’ distinctive Slime monsters. Looks rather cute if you ask me.

Sadly, DQM 3D is currently only confirmed for Japan. However, given the popularity of Dragon Quest in the Western world (and the long run of English releases for the DS), it’s a safe bet that Nintendo will be looking at releasing the title in English-speaking countries.

Looks like the 3DS design might stay in Nippon though
