Donkey Kong Country titles to be removed from Wii Virtual Console

Bad news Donkey Kong fans, then again if you’re a fan you probably already have these.

The three SNES Donkey Kong Country titles are set to be removed from the European (that means us too) Wii Virtual Console. The message on the Wii Shopping Channel found by @NintenDaan offers no explanation as to why they’re being removed. They’re being removed from the store from November 25th.

That means say goodbye too;

•     Donkey Kong Country
•     Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy’s Kong Quest
•     Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong’s Double Trouble!

Do keep in mind that if you have bought them already you won’t lose them, but if you’re hankering for some late night Kong action one day you won’t be able to buy these any longer.
