Donkey Kong Country Returns…..in 3D

A rather controversial announcement today with another Donkey Kong game headed to the 3DS – and even better it’s coming out this year.
We’re assuming this isn’t developed by Retro Studios – though the game is a 3D remake of the original game that graced the Wii only years ago.
Not a lot was talked about, though we’re hoping that this might be something a little bit more substantial than just the original game with a fresh coat of 3D paint.
Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D (known as Donkey Kong Returns 3D in Japan) will launch on the Nintendo 3DS simultaneously on physical media and the eShop. A trailer showcasing the 3D upgrade to the game will be made available shortly on the Nintendo eShop. Be sure to check it out!
