The Super Guide was introduced in New Super Mario Bros. Wii; its a relativity new feature that guides you through a level in a game if you need a helping hand. Well that feature, whether you love it or hate it, is back in Donkey Kong Country Returns.
Die 8 times in a level and a checkpoint pig will pop out and suggest to you that you might need some help. If you accept, a white version of Donkey Kong will play through the level and, like the other iterations of the guide, youll be able to pop into the action at any point. The white Kong wont collect any "KONG" letters or special items though.
The Super Guide didnt end up being the game-destroying feature many had said it would. Instead, it did what Nintendo said it would and help out players less versed in the ways of the platformer.
Donkey Kong Country Returns is still without a release date for Australia, but it is coming out in 2010. Were sure of that.
