Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D dated for Australia and New Zealand

Nintendo Australia has let us know that Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D will be coming to Australia and New Zealand on May 25th.
It’s a day after Europe just as we predicted.
The game is a complete port of the Wii version released in late 2010. The original was developed by Metroid Prime developers Retro Studios and the 3DS is being done by Monster Games.
Anyone keen to take this game for another swing or perhaps you didn’t play it the first time?

Wow, that is soon. Something to play in between Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing then!
Wow I wasn’t expecting it this quick. Really happy about it though.
So do you…
So do you reckon this means the 3DS could run Galaxy?
Can’t wait!
I feel they could have used the engine, as it obviously ports well, and gone ahead and made a sequel. This is a bit lazy for Nintendo…
I think this is great news. Means i will not have to blow the dust off my Wii to play this 😀
ummm, might give it a miss don’t know if the old wallet could manage it and still own the Wii version so no need really to buy it again. i would be great tho in 3D i think….
@Darth Robbo it is and it isn’t, its like wind waker on wii u. its quick to get it out and if they have another DK in the works for the wii u and 3ds thats months away it is a good filler in the mean time.
The thing I hate is that it will be full price ( I would like to be proven wrong) so paying full price for the wii version then the 3ds just upsets me and will do my best to give it a miss.
Holy crap. Awesome.
