The launch of Disney Infinity is just under a month away now and all of the details for the myriad of ways to play the game are surfacing.
The Power Discs in Disney Infinity sit below the characters on the pedestal and can be stacked up to three high. There are two styles of discs, the circular power discs grant extra powers to the characters they sit under. The hexagonal power discs unlock gadgets, vehicles and themes for use in the toy box.
You can one power disc free when you buy the game, however if you want more you’ll be buying them in ‘blind packs’ where you can’t tell what you’re going to get. You’ll need to swap and trade with friends if you want to collect them all.
Naturally this is likely to be a little bit expensive, we’ve asked Disney what’s the go with local pricing.
Disney Infinity is out on the Wii U, Wii and 3DS on August 22nd. We went hands on with the game at E3, you can read our impressions of the game here.
Preinstalled this time.
