Disney aims to put its new streaming service on Switch

Eventually

Disney have detailed their up and coming Disney+ streaming service, set to compete with the likes of Netflix and YouTube Premium, but it is the fact that during their presentation, they listed plans of what platforms they will support.

The service is set to support Web and mobile, as one might expect, but it was the image where the Switch was shown that caught our eye.

Now while they have not confirmed it, they have very high hopes of getting all the listed devices ready for day one.

The service is launching in the USA on November 12th and while we have no release date on when we might get it, there is a lot to look forward too, when we do, with new Star Wars TV series, including a proper ending to The Clone Wars, three new Marvel Studios shows, with one starring Tom Hiddleston as Loki and an all new series for Monsters Inc, called Monsters At Work, with Billy Crystal and John Goodman returning to voice their respective characters.

Of course, we still need to wait for confirmation on the Switch being supported, but as Disney want this service to be global within 2 years, this could be the next video platform we get on Switch.
