Developers almost out of ink with Scribblenauts
Scribblenauts may well be 5th Cells last DS title…at least for the time being
5th Cell, the developers of not only the eagerly anticipated Scribblenauts – which is scheduled for a released in Australia on the 16th of September – but the critically acclaimed Drawn to Life and Locks Quest will be packing up their bags and moving to other consoles after Scribblenauts is finished.
"This is our big last hurrah for DS games," says Jeremiah Slaczka, creative director. The team plan to move off the realm of handheld games and move into the heavily dominated market of console gaming for the time being. "Were now going to move on to consoles in the next year. We might still do DS; Im not saying were not going to [develop DS games]. But our focus is definitely going to be on console."
