Deus Ex: Mankind Divided developers “Never Thought About The NX”
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is out today and of course there’s no Wii U version, because well you know. We got Deus Ex: Human Revolution sure, but that game technically already existed and was ported.
So what about the upcoming Nintendo NX?
Speaking to Finder.com.au, Producer of Mankind Divided, Olivier Proulx was asked about a possibly NX version and yeah, the response was honest to say the least.
Square is known to support the NX with Dragon Quest and we also saw the director’s cut of Human Revolution appear as one of the first games on Wii U – would you want to see Mankind Divided on NX one day?
We’ve never thought about the NX. Right now there’s nothing new to announce there. We’ve just been looking at PC, Xbox One and PS4, and that’s been our focus.
Well, if you were a betting man, what do you reckon the chances are?
I can’t be that obvious. I can’t bet on this. (laughs)
So it’s not a straight no, but even if the team were working on a NX version it’s unlikely they would or could be able to say anyway with Nintendo keeping a lock and key on anything NX. Sure some publishers, like Square-Enix have said they’re bringing Dragon Quest to the console and Square-Enix do publish Deus Ex: Mankind Divided but for now curb your enthusiasm.
Is Deus Ex: Mankind Divided something you’d like to play on a Nintendo console or have you already picked it up?
