Dead or Alive Dimensions reclassified as M
Should return to shelves soon, drama over
After being pulled from shelves nearly two weeks ago after a classification drama and media storm, Dead or Alive: Dimensions for the Nintendo 3DS has now been reclassified.
The game now carries a brand new shiny M for Mature rating (not MA15+ as rumours suggested) and a fresh warning about content changing online. The text violence and sexualized gameplay remain the same despite the higher rating.
After the negative press regarding the games photo mode the games classification was looked into and revoked after it was deemed that PG wasnt strong enough. The original rating was sought by THQ who were to distribute the game, Nintendo then took on the distribution of the game and the rating. Check out the full story here.
