DC Universe Online is coming to the Nintendo Switch
The popular free-to-play MMO – DC Universe Online is coming to the Nintendo Switch. It’ll release this ‘summer’ which is winter for us.
DC Universe Online, as far as MMOs go, has been around for a while, first releasing in 2011. It’s also been on nearly every system – so it coming to the Switch makes sense.
DC Universe Online is a Free-to-Play, massive multiplayer online action game set in the popular DC Comics universe. Become one of a new breed of Heroes or Villains and wield incredible powers as you go to war with legendary characters such as Batman, Superman, Lex Luthor and The Joker.
Executive Producer of the game Leah Bowers has spoken with CBR about the Switch version saying;
“Bringing the game to the Switch was something that’s very close to my heart. Nintendo was the first console I really connected with; and yet, I associated the brand with first party or platform games. But when the switch came out, it blew my mind and highlighted the possibilities that were there.”
DC Universe Online will be the first MMO for the Switch in the west. Japan already has Dragon Quest X and Phantasy Star Online. We’ll let you know once it’s out.
