Dark Souls Remastered Network Test available to download, starts this weekend
The much delayed Dark Souls Remastered is closing in on its Switch release and that means the Dark Souls Remastered Network Test will also soon be upon us.
You can download the network test version right now from the eShop, but it won’t start until the weekend. You’ll also need a shiny new Nintendo Switch Online subscription to try it out.
It’ll run on all these days, September 22nd, 23rd, 24th – at the following times;
Perth – Sat, 22 Sep 2018 at 8:00 am AWST – 12:00 noonAWSTAdelaide, Darwin – Sat, 22 Sep 2018 at 9:30 am ACST – 1:30 pm ACSTSydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart – Sat, 22 Sep 2018 at 10:00 am AEST – 2:00 pm AEST
Update looks like our times were wrong, here’s the right times from Nintendo Australia;

What rubbish. This should not require an online subscription.
I wasn’t considering this, but I would have tried this if given the option (which could have changed my mind). Now I’ll definitely be skipping unless there is an offline demo offered later on.
I don’t intend to subscribe right away as the Online subscription scheme is a joke (at least in its current state), but if I can find 6 other people to share a family account with, I would perhaps be inclined to do so sooner.
It’s a network test, you need to be on their network to be able to test it… Don’t get angry because you don’t understand something.
If you don’t want it, sell your Switch. No one’s forcing you to own it.
