At least you can still keep playing your Wii games.
The Wii U will be Nintendo’s first high-definition console, capable of spitting out 1080 lines of fun, and will also play Wii games and support Wii accessories. The question on everyone’s mind has been whether the Wii U would upscale the (3D) graphics in Wii games to look crisp and high definition.
Nintendo’s response is negative, confirming that Wii games will not be getting special treatment on the upcoming console. The fact that the Wii U will support Wii games at all is enough for most, and I know many of our forumers have built up a respectable library of Wii games. Although I was so looking forward to playing Ninjabread Man in HD, so looking forward. Oh well, there’s always the Dolphin emulator if you’re into that sort of thing.
